Period of contract and cancellation

Your policy will automatically renew each month upon receipt of your premium and will continue until you cancel your policy with us by email, post or telephone. Your monthly premium will be collected by the most recent payment method provided by you.

If we do not receive your premium payments, you will be unable to make a claim and your policy will cancel in accordance with your Terms and Conditions. This does not affect the 14 day statutory right you have to cancel as stated in your policy wording.

Upon cancellation, cover will terminate at the end of the month for which you have paid your premium and no refund will be provided as you will have only paid for the cover you have had.

This is not the same if you cancel within your first 14 days (‘Statutory Cancellation Period’) where the policy will cancel with immediate effect and any premiums paid will be returned to you.

You can cancel your agreement at anytime by calling Affinion on 0800 917 7682 or emailing them at or writing to Affinion at the address which is shown in your Terms and Conditions and in the Contact Us section of this website.

You have a right to cancel your agreement up to 14 days from receipt of your agreement with a full refund (unless you have made a claim on your policy).

We can cancel the policy by giving you at least 30 days’ notice by email or in writing to the latest home address we have for you where there is a valid reason for doing so. We will set out the reason for cancellation in the email or letter. Valid reasons may include, but are not limited to:

  • where we have not been able to collect the premium(s) . In this case, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you requesting payment by a specific date. If we are unable to contact you or do not receive payment by this date your policy will be cancelled.
  • where we, the Administrator or the Insurer reasonably suspect that you have submitted a claim knowing it to be false or a misrepresentation.
  • where the policy is no longer available, for example, if the policy is being discontinued or the Insurer is no longer able to provide cover.
